Return policy

At Finechef, we strive for excellence in customer satisfaction. If for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer an easy return & refund process in line with the following conditions;

1.  Return eligibility;

a.      We allow returns for most products sold on our platform both inhouse and those listed by vendors.

b.     Some items due to safety or hygiene purposes may be non-refundable or have specific return conditions, but these details will always be well stated on the product page. These products may include;

-         Perishables

-         Customized or personalized items

-         Products that are clearly marked as non-returnable in their description.

-         All Digital products. E.g., softwares, eBooks, etc.

2.  How to initiate a return

a.      Log in to your Finechef account

b.     Navigate to “My Orders” and select the order with the item’s you wish to return.

c.      Click the Return/ Request refund option and input the reason for the return request such as, defective, damaged or wrong items received.

d.     Include the relevant details/ & or images to support your return request.

3.  Return request review

a.      Once the request is received, we will review the return request within 2 business days.

b.     For damages/ defective good, additional information may be requested for the purpose of verification.

4.   Approval/ Rejection of Returns

a.      Upon review, the return request will be approved/ or rejected based on the provided information in compliance with this return policy.

b.     If approved, you will receive a confirmation email with additional return instructions.

5.  Returning  &  Tracking

a.      Repackage the item ensuring its in its original condition with all the accessories, tags & labels intact as may be the case.

b.     Follow the instructions provided as to the shipping address which may vary depending on the vendor or product origin.

c.      Retain the shipping receipt and tracking details for reference.

6.  Returns processing, Refunds & exchange

a.      Once the returned items have been received, we will inspect them to ensure it meets the return conditions.

b.     This process may take up to 3 business days.

c.      If the returned items meet the return criteria, we will process your refunds or exchange in accordance to your preference.

d.     All refunds will be made to the initial payment method excluding any handling or shipping fees.

e.      Exchanges, will be processed promptly and the replacement items dispatched promptly.
